Lyndsey Lynch
Lyndsey joins Wynne-Jones, having previously been employed as a senior patent officer in a Government Body. Her most recent role involved liaising with inventors and drafting and prosecuting patent applications in chemical, mechanical and biotechnology areas. She was the primary attorney for the £1bn turn over Atomic Weapons Research Establishment providing the full range of IP advice in a number of areas as well as advising what is best commercially and politically.
Qualified as a chemist, Lyndsey also deals with a wide range of biotechnology, mechanical and electronic patents from a broad client base. Lyndsey holds a Masters degree in Chemistry (Mchem) with study in Europe. Topics studied covered: reaction mechanisms, transition metal chemistry, spectroscopy, catalysis and biology for chemists. The third year of the course was spent studying chemistry at the University of Rennes, Brittany. Final year research project comprised fabrication of chemical sensors to detect low concentrations of fluorinated and chlorinated hydrocarbons. The project encompassed several areas of modern physics and electronics, including semiconductor device processing.
Lyndsey gained the Certificate in Intellectual Property Law at Queen Mary University in 2002/2003 with credits, and qualified as an Attorney in 2007. She is a Chartered Patent Attorney and a European Patent Attorney.
