Wynne-Jones IP is a UK and European IP firm specialising in patents, trade marks, designs, IP strategy, IP licensing and enforcement, IP audits and IP renewals.  We have been helping businesses to protect IP for nearly 60 years.  Our client portfolio spans an impressive mix of private individuals, multinationals, large technology-based companies, SMEs, and Universities, be they local, national, or international.

We are looking for an Administrator to provide administrative services to support all teams across Wynne-Jones.  This is an integral role and will be based in our Gloucester office. 

Your Responsibilities

As an administrator, your role will include various tasks to support Wynne-Jones in delivering administrative/secretarial services to internal and external clients. This is to include office admin, invoicing, administration of prospective clients, new client onboarding process, administration in relation to the Client Account Management and other ad hoc tasks as needed.

Who will be the successful candidate? 

The vacancy suits a candidate with experience of administration particularly within a professional services environment. Experience of intellectual property would be useful but is not required since training will be provided.

You will need to be competent with the use of all aspects of Microsoft Office and the use of interactive web services. You will also need to be able to write clearly and concisely in a professional manner. You will be responsible for organising and prioritising your own work, and meeting internal and external deadlines, monitoring tasks on our internal systems, and understanding your own and your colleagues’ work priorities to enable all deadlines to be met.  Accuracy is important in all aspects of our work. You will need to check not only your own work, but to assist other by checking theirs, and to ask others to check yours.

The Patent and Trade Mark Attorney Profession is regulated by the Intellectual Property Regulation Board (IPReg). Since Wynne-Jones is a regulated firm, your work will be subject to such regulation. Your work will also need to comply with GDPR and money laundering requirements. You will also need to maintain the confidentiality of the work we do for clients.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum of 5 GCSEs at grade 4 or above including Maths and English (or equivalent)
