Gareth Jenkins MSc, MITMA

Gareth acts for a variety of clients from individuals to multinationals and has particular experience in the management of global trade mark portfolios, counterfeiting issues and the assignment of Intellectual Property Rights. He has principal clients with interests in the fashion, cosmetic, financial and healthcare industries.

Gareth firmly believes in building strong client relationships. He spends time getting to know his clients and their commercial strategies and aspirations before combining this knowledge with an understanding of the parameters of the law, so as to devise transparent, realistic and effective trade mark strategies. 

Gareth graduated from Queen Mary & Westfield College, London with a Master's degree in Intellectual Property Law after being awarded an Honours degree in Biomedical Science from Guy’s, Kings and St Thomas College Hospital, London. Gareth joined the trade mark profession in 2001 and qualified as a registered trade mark attorney by examination in 2005. He joined Wynne-Jones, Lainé & James LLP in 2008. He is a member of the Institute of Trade Mark Attorneys and acts before the UK, European Community and International Trade Mark Offices.

His leisure interests include classic cars, music, film and mountain biking.
