Fun running for the Bleinheim 7k
Vicki, Tina and I did the Blenheim Palace 7k Fun Run on 29th April to kickstart our tough mudder training. It was absolutely freezing, but I soon warmed up as we jogged around the beautiful grounds of the palace. I’d never been to Blenheim Palace before and was looking forward to enjoying the views, however I spent most of the time staring determinedly at the ground!
I made it round in roughly 46 minutes, which I’m really pleased with as it’s definitely the furthest distance I’ve ever run (and I didn’t even stop!). It was difficult to stick together, and I quickly lost Vicki and Tina when the run bottle-necked at a large puddle in the pathway. Some 2,000 people were running that day, so it was incredibly busy!
Despite the cold (and having to run) I actually quite enjoyed myself. Maybe I’ll become one of those people who run now…
Here's me across the finishing line...
